Arrowhead typically utilizes a combination of hand calculations, 2D Cad, 3D Solid Modeling, and Finite Element Analysis in its design process. Our personnel are all well trained, with years of experience. We can also supply short videos for concept presentations or service work.

Consider getting our team involved at the earliest stages of the project. We will work within your operational capabilities, yet apply sound design principals for an easily manufactured and a reliable product.

Component Design & Analysis

Our team creates new or uses existing components to accomplish your desired results. No job is too big or too small. Our modeling software allows us to insure adequate machine clearances, check for interferences, allow for assembly clearances, and maintain an accurate parts count.

Stress analysis

Our team utilizes its experience coupled Finite Element Analysis (verified by hand calculation) to insure that your machine or component meets the applicable standards (safety standards) and is within your design scope. Detailed reports with colored stress plots insure that your finished components are safe and reliable. We can analyze for stress, fatigue, deflection, and impact.

Assembly Creation & Animation

Our team can create moving assemblies that demonstrate the motion of machines when complete.

Fixture Design

Our team can create fixtures for welding and assembly to aid your manufacturing process. These fixtures can be made concurrent with a new design or created from existing parts for aid in manufacturing. The fixtures shown are actual and manufactured under our supervision.

Drafting and BOM Services

Our team can create 2D manufacturing drawings, parts book pages, and repair manual documentation pages in support of your products. We can work with your technical writing staff to supply them the technical prints and pictures that they need to adequately present and develop repair and maintenance procedures that are necessary for the safe use of your product.

Detailed and accurate bills of materials are part of the assembly drawings. These can be transferred into Excel or other MRP programs that you may use.

Hydraulic Design

Our team has over 30 years of combined experience designing hydraulic systems, and custom manifolds.

Service And Training

Equipment Specification Let us help you develop specifications that will be fair and free from vendor influence, yet meet all of the applicable standards. Acceptance Inspection We can perform independent inspections of equipment, or parts for compliance to your specification and safety codes. An independent inspection provides a written report that will aid in the resolution of conflicts between company and vendor. Manual Creation We can produce the parts books and repair manuals for your product. We can do the entire manual or a portion of it. This service is limited to the expertise that we have in house. Training We can assist in the development of training procedures for your parts & equipment, and even conduct the training so that your equipment is utilized correctly and safely.

Litigation Services

Professional Witness We provide expert witness services in our area of engineering expertise. These run from depositions to inspection reports to professional opinion reports. Incident Prevention We analyze failures and incidences as well as assist in developing action plans to prevent recurrence of incidences.
